Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 15.5 oz can chili beans
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 8.5 oz pkg cornbread mix
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup milk
Instructions
- Cook your ground beef with your onion and drain.
- Mix together your ground beef, salt and pepper to taste, chili powder, chili beans and tomato sauce in a large bowl.
- Pour your mixture into a 4-quart casserole crock.
- Mix together your cornbread mix, egg and milk.
- Pour evenly over your beef mixture.
- Place a couple of paper towels under your lid, cover and cook on high for two hours.
